2012 don't miss your chance to carry the Olympic Flame

Dear Bethan,
Last month we emailed you to let you know you have been shortlisted to carry the Olympic Flame during the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay through our 'Moment to shine' campaign.

Don't miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime!

In order to continue in the process you need to accept your nomination by Friday 16 September using the online nomination acceptance form.

We will first need you to verify the details provided about you in your nomination and then confirm the story that was submitted about you.

If you were under 18 when you were nominated, you will also need to print off and send back a hard copy of the participation terms signed by your parent/guardian. You will find the link and all the details through the online form.

By accepting your story, it will then go forward to be reviewed by one of 12 regional selection panels. The 2,012 individuals with the most inspirational stories, chosen from over 28,000 nominations we received, will be offered a place as one of 8,000 Torchbearers needed for the Relay, joining those chosen through our Presenting Partners' public nomination campaigns.

To make sure you receive our emails straight to your inbox add us to your 'safe senders' list.

Please note, if we do not hear from you by 16 September your nomination will be withdrawn without notice. (If you have accepted your nomination in the last seven days, thanks! We are still processing the most recent responses; you can disregard this email.)

We will next be in touch during the week beginning 5 December 2011, when we be letting all those who accepted their nomination know whether they have been made a Torchbearer offer.

Best wishes,

The London 2012 Torch Relay team
