Wednesday, 12th January was well attended and thirteen floor spots came forward to entertain us. Having “caught something” from Gill I stayed silent this time as my throat wasn’t up to the task. However, Foxen did the honours as joint MCs and having kicked the evening off they introduced “Pep” Pepper, Smolowik, Bert Dady & Keith Petty, Bernie Pilgrim – on his own this time, Jane Thomson, Dave Worley, Helen Tegg, Andy Roberts, Sheila Grainger step-dancing accompanied by Bernie the Box and John the Fox, Simon Oliver, Margaret Brown and William Saint.

The recently-formed Four Seasons Folk Club, with which Haverman Smolowik is involved, has an evening of folk and acoustic music at the Polska YMCA, 20 Gunnersbury Ave., London W5 3QL.
